- Descend further down Gravendreef until Hoefijzervijver
- Follow the Bocqpad to the right (re) at the pond. We cross the Verdronken Kinderendreef and the Infantendreef and turn left at Boendaeldreef until we follow Verdronkenkinderendreef to the left, which we follow until Infantendreef.
- Go to Hoefijzerweg to the left and until Tweetriageweg to the left
- Until over the bridge of Hoefijzervijver. We cross the Tumuliweg and take the Hyacintenvoetpad. We continue around the 2 ponds of the Verdronken Kinder and ascend
- To the TweeBergenweg, which we cross and take the Vuilbeekpad along the beautiful valley of Vuilbeek. We successively cross: the Graafdreef, the Tumuliweg, and the Infantedreef and leave the Vuilbeektal at the back left via the Berkenpad and continue after crossing Sint Hubertusdreef and Groenespechtweg until Duboislaan.

- We turn around, and before the intersection, we take the Teenbosdreef to the right. We cross St Michielsdreef and go until Frambozendreef, which we follow to the right around Ganzenpootvijver (spring area of the Ijse), and over Sneppenweg and Preumontpad we cross St Corneliusdreef, and along Kloosterweg we see to the left the Lindevijver and further the St Corneliuskapel and nearby several benches and picnic tables overlooking the pond.
- 100 m after the Cornelius Chapel, we leave Kloosterweg to the left and descend along the Putselvijver, to the left we see Groenendaal Castle, we cross the parking lot and Johannes Ruysbroekweg and along Priorijweg we cross the (!) Duboislaan and enter the Arboretum and follow the first path left uphill, cross Duboislaan and follow the left hiking path through the Arboretum to the exit at Langestaartdreef. We follow this to the right until Vanderheydenweg to the left and follow until Infantendreef to the right until the intersection with Graafdreef, which we follow diagonally right. On the way, we cross Bunderdreef and Van Kermdreef and take St Hubertusdreef to the left
- Until Infantedreef to the right-
- Follow upstream to the left through the Vuilbeek Valley
- Until Hangarpad, continue to the right, cross Tweebergenweg and first to the right, follow Wollenborrepad downstream along the beautiful valley of Wolleborrebeek
- Until Infantendreef 20 m to the left and again to the right follow the stream valley downstream until Tumuliweg at Hoefijzervijver.
- Follow Gravendreef uphill to the left until the parking lot where we started.
