Running course Muisbroek - green loop

Between the busy port of Antwerp and the A12 motorway lies domain Muisbroek, a unique piece of nature where it is blissfully quiet to walk. The area, popularly known as the Ekerse wells, is known for its two ponds, where many divers indulge themselves. These were dug as water extraction for the then steam shunting locomotives of the railways, but are now home to many fish species and waterfowl. Runners will find no less than three adventurous running loops of different distances, which wind around and around the ponds and connect to each other.

Start: the three routes start at the small well. At the end of the Vier Kerkenstraat, take the pedestrian bridge over the A12 and turn right immediately afterwards.

- yellow loop of 800 meters around the small well
- orange loop of 2 800 meters around both small wells
- green loop of 4 500 meters through polder and around both wells
