This signposted bike path explores the polder landscape between Nieuwpoort and Veurne. This landscape is characterized by its great openness (the "Blote").
The bike tour runs among other things along the IJzer, the Hemmeleed, the Proostdijkvaart, and the Langgeleed ("Langelis" as it's commonly known). The route deviates from the signposted route at some points, favoring newly constructed car-free bike paths.
The route begins at the sports hall in Oostduinkerke, where free parking is also available.
