AzureDeparture of the Kleine Nete
Discover the Kleine Nete that winds through the heart of the Kempen. One of the purest waterways in flanders. This picturesque river is home to a rich plant and animal world. The route takes you past some beautiful nature reserves such as De Zegge, the Olens Broek, Snepkensvijver, the Zwart Water and the Peertsbos. You also pass the Kempense Heuvelrug, an old dune belt.
You will find all necessary amenities such as jetties, parking, picnic areas and drinking establishments.
What can you expect? A relaxing but fascinating trip through an idyllic piece of nature from the watermill in Retie to the watermill of Grobbendonk. The tour culminates in a beautiful park landscape.

The route is a total of 25 km long and has a total of 9 entry and exit points.

When?
The rental season usually runs from the Easter holidays until the end of October. To know the correct dates, it is best to look at the landlord's site.
If you have a canoe, kayak, paddle board, this is possible every day: from sunrise to sunset.
