AzureFrom south to north, the Herk winds through Wellen through the Broekbeemd and Grote Beemd nature reserves. These areas are managed by Limburgs Landschap vzw with the help of the volunteers of 't Bokje. The names of the areas already reveal it: it can be wet. Beemd' stands for 'a hayfield in a stream valley'. Both areas are home to beautiful spring bloomers and European top nature!
