The José Vermeersch Path is a representation of the intertwining between Lendelede and the artist José Vermeersch. As this path winds through Lendelede, the figure of the artist comes to life when viewing the artworks distributed throughout the community, both in public and private spaces.
The path takes us along special places in Lendelede: public and private buildings that radiate the dynamics, enthusiasm, and ambition of their population, places that reflect the care for the past, the gentle landscape that invites tranquility and introspection, ultimately arriving home in the studio and sculpture garden of the artist José Vermeersch.
