Appointment at the Kerkplein (V) in Begijnendijk. Look for the Kerkstraat and start with the church on your left. Cycle past the cemetery and turn right into Dreef, direction junction 50. At the end turn right and before the square turn left into the Puttestraat. At the fork, keep right and continue to follow Puttestraat. Don't worry about side roads, turn right at a crossroads. Buildings are becoming scarcer. Take Vijverstraat on the right. Ignore all side roads and turn right on the mini roundabout with tree. Turn left, leave a dirt road and at the fork follow the Goreweg straight ahead, between fields and meadows. Cross an intersection and continue cycling through the rural Seypestraat. Keep following it until you reach the most beautiful Neighbour Nature spot of Betekom /Rijmenam after a grove. Here you turn left and follow a beautiful path under the greenery, over an old tram bed. You cross two streets and after 900 m you arrive in the Grote Baan. Follow this narrow asphalt road to the left until you can turn right into the Hulstsestraat at junction 50, direction 1 Follow it through a grove and between fields until you can turn right into the Kleine Potestraat. At the end you enter the Soelstraat and follow it to the left until you reach the intersection with the N21b. Cross carefully and turn right into the Heuvelstraat. Follow it to the fork with the triangular chapel and keep right. You cycle past the agglomeration sign of Betekom and continue on a gravel road through an agricultural landscape to the Gelroodseweg and junction 1 On the right you will see the church of Betekom. Left.

Along the Demer
You cross the Grote Laak and continue cycling to the Demer and junction 92. Cross the Demer and follow the Demerdijk to the left on the other side, direction 62. After 900 m you cycle further down the dike past the castle Nieuwenland / De Postiljon, which now houses a hotel and a party room. Then turn right with the Beemdenstraat and cycle from the Demer road, through an open agricultural landscape. At the end of the road, follow Turfputten next to the railway to the right, direction Gelrode. At junction 62 turn right, direction 66. Cross the Begijnendijksesteenweg and continue cycling along the Baan op Rotselaar, a dead end road except for cyclists. The street changes its name to Heirbaan and has been made car-free on this side with poles. You cycle 2 km undulating along the railway and through the greenery. Back in civilization you will discover a number of spacious buildings on the right. At an elevated intersection, turn left into Bessenstraat. Turn right and continue cycling through a residential area and past the station of Wezemaal. Cross the Langestraat and continue cycling through the Winkelveldbaan. Don't worry about side roads until you can turn left into the Duitsveldlaan, with two prohibition signs about the maximum height and width of vehicles. Just under a kilometer away you notice why. You dive through a narrow tunnel under the railway and continue cycling on the other side until you reach a T-junction. Follow the Abdijlaan to the right, cross the Grote Losting and at junction 66 choose direction 30. Go under the railway via tunnel and continue cycling through the Drielindenstraat. Don't worry about side roads and continue cycling to the intersection with the traffic lights.

There at that watermill<
Cross and cycle past the Danone factory through the Astridstraat and then further and further through the open agricultural landscape. The Astridstraat becomes the Kwellenbergstraat, which becomes the Molenstraat. You will pass the agglomeration sign of Rotselaar and along the Dijle. At the T-junction, you have reached junction 30 and turn left, towards 72. On the left is the impressive watermill of Rotselaar 1. You cross two Dijlearmen and then turn right into the Achterheidestraat. You bolt along the Dijle for a while and then head into the open landscape, with a beautiful 360° panorama. At junction 72 turn left, direction 26 and Wakkerzeel. In the center of the village you can go over cobblestones. Opposite café 't Schuurken you turn right and cycle out of the center next to the church over even more cobblestones. At the intersection before the traffic lights you come to junction 26. Turn right into Stadonkstraat, direction 23. You continue cycling on a narrow asphalt road through the open landscape to a crossroads. Turn right and continue cycling between meadows and fields, past a gigantic stable with a weighbridge in front of it, until you reach the Werchtersesteenweg. Cross carefully and continue cycling on a narrow asphalt road between the meadows until you reach a T-junction. Turn right and then left into the Bessemhoefweg. Continue cycling on this narrow asphalt road between the fields, go into the forest and wind around the Bessemhoef. Then between a few orchards straight on the 4-jump (follow 23), continue on a T-junction left, until the next T-junction with a triangular chapel. Turn right until you reach Keerbergsesteenweg. Follow it to the right, cross the Dijle via the Hansbrug and continue cycling straight ahead at junction 23, direction 24. Turn right into Pierventhoek and continue cycling to junction 24. There you choose direction 69 and cycle via the Pheasant Drive to the busy Tremelobaan. Cross carefully and continue cycling through the Hazendreef.

Along lake Keerbergen<
At the intersection with brasserie De Lodge on the left, turn right into Vlieghavenlaan. You cycle past the beautifully situated Royal Athenaeum of Keerbergen and then turn left into the Mereldreef. You cycle past restaurant The Lake, hostellerie De Witte Meren and lake Keerbergen 2, which is hidden behind a number of imposing villas. You can catch a glimpse of it here and there. Continue following the Mereldreef until you can turn left into the Wielewaalweg. At the T-junction, turn right into Achiel Cleynhenslaan. The buildings are becoming much more modest. Where the road turns right, turn left into Lozenhofstraat. At a chapel, where the road goes straight ahead, turn right and continue cycling until junction 69. Choose Kapelstraat on the left, direction 68, and turn left at the T-junction. At junction 68 turn right into the one-way street, direction 70. Cross the Kapelstraat and cycle just past the church of Grootlo on the right into the Van Maerlelaan. You cycle through a grove and past loose buildings, cross the Grote Bollostraat and continue cycling through the Meiboomlaan to a triangular square with junction 70. Choose diagonally left and continue cycling along the edge of the forest, direction 6 It continues on a narrow asphalt road through a horticultural area and past wine guild / meeting center Siddartha. Cross a priority street further on and cycle further through the Pandhoevestraat, first through a residential area, then through a rural area and past the fishing pond of fishing club De Brasem. At a fork, keep left and cycle through a grove until junction 6 Turn left, direction 55. Cross the Grote Heidestraat. On the left is Booischot, on the right Begijnendijk. Continue cycling through the rural surroundings to junction 55. Cycle straight ahead and take the Hoekje on the right, direction 60. At the end you cross the Mechelbaan and cycle into the Dorpsstraat. Then the first forest road on the left and up to the crossroads with junction 60. Continue straight ahead and turn right at the T-junction. You end up in a street and at the end you turn right in front of a school. Then take the Nieuwstraat on the left and follow it to the church of Begijnendijk.
