Appointment at the church of Perk (V). With the entrance of the church on your left, start towards 48. Along the Ribaucourtplein and then on the right into the Driesstraat. At junction 48 continue straight ahead, direction 49. Past a beautiful chapel, turn left into the Walenbaan and head into the open landscape. At the end turn left and at the first intersection turn right into Huinhovenstraat. Cross the N278 and cycle next to a beautiful chapel through the Huinhovenstraat. You now cycle on a narrow asphalt road between the fields and along the walled Laathof 1 from the 18th-19th centuries. Don't worry about side roads. Past the nameplate of Vilvoorde you cycle over tiles through the Brembosstraat and past a brick chapel. When you bolt over asphalt again, you cycle parallel to the E19. On the right fields and meadows. For a bridge over the E19, turn with the Brembosstraat to the on2 on the right. You will arrive at the Houtemsesteenweg. Follow it to the right and turn left at the intersection into Molenstraat. From the nameplate of Elewijt the name changes to Waversebaan. Ignore all side roads and after a while cycle along a cycle path behind hedges to junction 49. Back in civilization, continue to follow the Waversebaan straight ahead, towards 19. Cross the N270 and follow the Waversebaan until you can turn right into Diependaalstraat. Cross the busy N227 and continue cycling through the Diependaalstraat past café Belvedère. At a crossroads you cycle straight ahead and past T.C. De Wehzel you come to a T-junction. Turn right and further left into Vinnestraat, through a forest until junction 19. Follow the Kampenhoutsebaan to the right until junction 44. Turn left, direction 77. The concrete road turns into a dirt road and you continue cycling between the fields and the Steentjesbos. When you come out of the forest, you cycle past the Sint-Isidorushoeve. Along the Leuven canal Don't worry about side roads and continue cycling along the Aarschotsebaan between meadows and loose buildings to the Leuven-Dijle canal, also known as Leuvense vaart. Right. At the bridge over the canal you are at junction 77. Keep following the canal and cycle along the sas van Boortmeerbeek and tavern De Wilg to junction 20 at Kampenhout-Sas with a beautiful picnic area and a mooring place for pleasure boats. Under the bridge and along the sas towards 97. The canal now runs through a green zone with forests and meadows. On the Beekstraat you are at junction 97. Continue straight on to junction 28. At the next bridge you are in Tildonk and at junction 28. Continue along the canal towards 32. You pass Tildonk-Sas with the legendary café Maritime, cycle around a swinging bowl and notice the white castle Keulenhof below dike. At Cargill's installations you have to go down the dike and you get to junction 32. Continue straight ahead, direction 95, and immediately turn right into Blakstraat, on a cobblestone road between two concrete strips. At the T-junction turn left, on a narrow concrete road between two pebble strips. From a farm you continue cycling on a narrow asphalt road in poor condition and after a bend turn left into the Oude Terbankstraat. At the end turn left over the Tildonksesteenweg and just before the name sign of Herent turn right into the Grensstraat/Bosstraat. The asphalt turns into a narrow concrete road with pebble strips along each side. Cross the Lipsebaan and turn left at the first house. The asphalt road is in poor condition and turns into a narrow concrete road between pebble strips. Follow it until you reach the N26. On the right is the church of Delle. Due to the outbreak of WWI and the collection of the necessary funds, it took 36 years before the church was finished. To Veltem Cross the N26 carefully and continue cycling through the Oude Hoevestraat. At the end turn left and then right an extra wheel on2 gravel road. At the end you follow the Groenstraat to the left, also a gravel road. You can enjoy beautiful views and after a while cycle on asphalt and along the nameplate of Veltem-Beisem, towards the forest. Back in civilization, take the Kastanjebosstraat on the left. At the end turn right into the gravel road for agricultural vehicles. This is the Kleine Spekstraat. The pebbles turn into asphalt and at the intersection you continue cycling straight ahead. From here, all traffic is allowed to follow the Kleine Spekstraat, through an open landscape. At the end of the road you are at junction 95. Turn right, direction 94. Don't worry about side streets and cycle past veltem station, the Proxy Delhaize, the church and café Rozenhof to junction 94. Turn right into Haachtstraat, direction Buken and 98. Cross an intersection, ignore a road diagonally left and then turn left into Binnenstraat. At the next crossroads turn right and exit the village via the Leuvenstraat, again through an open agricultural landscape. Don't care about side streets. The road is again forbidden for cars and you pass the Heersermolen (18th century) 2, together with the farm complex around it protected as a monument and village view. Go into the forest and when you get out, you cycle at the chapel of the Mother and the Three Sisters (1894) on the left into Molenbeekplein. Follow this street until, just before the bridge over the Molenbeek, you can turn right into the Balkenstraat at the field cross under the trees. At the chapel of Our Lady van Scherpenheuvel (1857) keep right and cycle along a wider asphalt road, the Balkestraat (without 'n'), past the name sign of Nederokkerzeel to junction 98. From castle to castle Straight ahead, direction 5, through the beautiful Wildersedreef, past the domain of the castle of Wilder 3, between the greens of Golfclub Kampenhout and along the Wildersedreefkapel (1652). 'Matri Misericordia' is written on it. At the end of the lane turn left and then right into Stationsstraat. Ignore all side streets and continue cycling to the first real intersection, immediately junction 5. Turn right, direction 6. Cross the busy N21 at the traffic lights and follow the Warandestraat to the end. Keep an eye on the arrows and continue cycling to junction 6 at the church. Turn left, direction Perk and junction 7. Where the road to Perk bends to the right, take Dorpstraat 2A-7A on the left, next to molenstee nursing home. At the end, follow the Molenveldweg to the left until you can turn right into the Kaasdaverweg. You now cycle on a narrow sandy path next to a wide grass road, which turns into a field road. You will arrive at junction 7. Cross the large asphalt road and continue cycling onto the Kaasdaverweg towards junction 56. At the fork, keep right and meander along the edge of the Hellebos. The field road turns into an asphalt road. At the T-junction turn right and follow the Hellebosstraat to the end. Left. You cross the Barebeek and then turn left into the Breemstraat. On the corner is a brick chapel and further on a beautiful Lourdes grotto 4 with a picnic area. Just past a chapel from 1888 you come to junction 56. On the left is castle de Ribaucourt 5 . Cycle straight ahead, towards 48, past the football fields until you reach the church of Perk
