You start under the bell tower of the church of Dworp (V). Walk from the church gate to the Alsembergsesteenweg. You cross it carefully, to dive left into the Beling. The street descends with a right-angled bend to the Molenbeek. Past the stream, you turn left. Follow the water to the cobblestones of the Solheidestraat; Turn right. Go up, up to the secondary road on the left with the Solheide sign No. 27, you must enter. This is followed by a descent along the meadows to the Lotsesteenweg. Crossing, walk next to the music school for young people Mierenest in the Hanenbosweg, again uphill. At the T, choose the right one. Once again, you cross the Lotsesteenweg, to follow the path straight with a view of the village of Dworp. Climbing to the Beguine Forest, the highlight. At the top you cross the Begijnbosstraat and enter directly into the dirt road leading to the farm. Stable scents blow against you, while at the same time a wide panorama of Brussels and the periphery presents itself. Past the farm, you arrive at a five-lane 1. You walk straight into the Kleine Hertweg, also marked as Kesterbeekwandeling. A straight walking path with wide views to the north, you can see, among others, the Zuidertoren peaks in the NE. You enter the J. Hauwaertstraat, a beautiful hollow road overgrown with forest-sized beech trees, among other things. Nr. 42 is the organic farm of cuvry, where a range of agricultural and regional products is for sale. In this way you end up in Kesterbeek, hamlet of Beersel, and in the beautiful valley of the Kesterbeek, with springs and streams, pollard willows and woodland edges, ponds, bushes, hay meadows. Partly nature reserve. 100 m after the last house, you walk directly into the path (with no horseback riding), between the meadows. Optionally, you can knit a 3 km extension from here, continuing to follow the Hauwaertstraat and the signs of the Kesterbeek promenade. He heads to the center of Beersel, with the possibility of a pit stop in a gueuze or kriek. You then resume from 2 . Where the path opens between the houses, zigzag to the left to choose the ascent H. Consciensestraat. Further up, turn right and back down with the Klutsstraat. The Kesterbeek promenade is also present. Ignore all secondary roads and continue straight. To the right of the asphalt, you are suddenly surprised by a collection of fantastic art from Al Balis, The Garden of Unrest 2, populated by the most wonderful creatures. Continue following Klutsstraat. Always ignore side branches. You arrive at a beautiful valley, in which you descend to the right. At the bottom of the bareel you forget the footpath that turns right, you walk left. You exit the valley and at the fork of the house No. 26 you again choose the left. This will take you to the intersection of the Dikkemeerweg, which you follow on the right. At the intersection with the Begijnbosstraat, straight ahead. Continue walking through the hollow Dikkemeerweg to the Chapel of Jesus under a majestic pine tree; there you have to turn left, into the J. Deneyerstraat. Keep following them, even where they turn left in a secluded house. So you don't dive directly into this deep hollow road. Through the trees, you now have a view of the unique site of Herisem, where you have to think about the ribbon buildings behind it. From the first right, the Fabriekstraat, you descend on rough cobblestones to Herisemmolen 3. A unique piece of (protected) industrial archaeology as you pass through, including a museum and tavern. This former paper and cardboard factory from 1536 enjoyed international fame in the 19th century (www.herisem.be). Just after the buildings you turn right into the Herisem hiking trail, in a beautiful part of the Molenbeek valley. You soon cross the stream and then continue to follow it 1 km downstream on the right bank. At the former brewery in Dworp (now a residential block), you walk left into the Brouwerijstraat, straight towards the church tower
