The hiking route takes you into the border area of Lampernisse (Diksmuide) and Alveringem. You pass meadows, fields, ditches, and canals, as well as traces of medieval homesteads. The path runs along 'the fat meadows' and the natural phenomenon of Kullern and Kreekrücken. At the border between Lampernisse and Alveringem, you reach the Kleine IJzerbeek. In Alveringem, you walk along the Große IJzerbeek. The tour then continues along quiet paths, and you return to the starting point in Lampernisse alongside fields and crops.
