The Almond Valley bicycle route offers plenty of variety. You cycle past the Provincial Domain Baliekouter in Wakken, orchards in the vicinity of Dentergem, through the Mandelmeersen, and over an old railway track that runs through the landscape in Oostrozebeke. You reach the green towing path of the Roeselare-Leie Canal in Ingelmunster. In Meulebeke, you pass centuries-old heritage such as the Ter Borcht Castle. From the top of the Poelberg in Tielt, the only incline on this otherwise flat route, you have a fantastic view over the Almond Valley. You can take a break at a rest area by local producers or on a cozy terrace along the way.
