This 14-kilometre walk crosses one of Belgium's most beautiful landscapes just below the language border in northern Hainaut.
In terms of landscape, The Land of the Hills is actually the continuation of the Flemish Ardennes on the other side of the linguistic border.
This walk takes you from Les Hauts through the virtually preserved forests of Bois d'Hubermont, Bois de Leuze, Bois Lefebvre and Bois de Brisee to the outskirts of Frasnes-Les-Buissenal, a district of Frasnes-Les_Anvaing.
On the way, you can visit the donkey stud farm "L'asinerie" after about eight kilometers, but only on Sundays. Definitely worth it!
After a steep climb to Les Monts, one of the highest points in the region with a view of the French border to the south and a view of the Kluisberg to the northwest, we return to Les Hauts by the ridge.
