This route begins at Fort 2 in Wommelgem (various parking lots) and leads from there to the "Schotenvaart," the anti-tank canal, and the Albert Canal, returning to Wommelgem and the fort. I have selected as many unpaved paths as possible, which are sometimes very sandy (or muddy when it's wet). A beautiful tour with plenty of variety. Most of it is car-free or has low traffic.
