At the beginning of the hike, the beautiful old farmhouses catch the eye, with their small windows and thick walls telling of the once harsh climate of this region. After a few minutes, the Statte, a wild mountain stream, is reached. The path continues over numerous bridges and narrow, stony trails to the Rocher de Bilisse, a nearly 50 m high rock face in the middle of the forest. The waterfall of the Trolls, located a bit higher up, is particularly impressive after heavy rains. Further along, the path leads to a rock field (Pierrier) from the last Ice Age and to the Dolmen of Solwaster. The latter still gives rise to speculation today. Shortly afterward, the hiker emerges from the dim light of the forest and gorges into the light on the heights above Solwaster. The view stretches far over the fields and hedges of the village before reaching the starting point again.
