Leo's 10K favorite in the Blosodomein (10km)

This is one of Leo's favorite 10 km running routes.

A large part is car-free (see further: However, be cautious, as the roads used are shortcuts!), flat (except for a short incline of 10% towards Leuvensevaart), a section along the Leuvensevaart, and mostly along and through (the walkable part of) the Blosodomein Hofstade.
The start and finish are located at the parking lot of the station in Hofstade. The running direction of the GPS is clockwise, so first follow the train line in a northeastern direction.
Watch out for the Ambroosweg, which you cross at the beginning after taking the forest path between the houses on the right: Take the path right between the trees before the green container: This is a heavily used shortcut and can be dangerous during peak times. A second dangerous shortcut is the Molenheidebaan, which starts after the Leuvensevaart as a cobbled road. This path is very narrow and winding. Even on the straight sections, many cars come dangerously close during peak traffic times without slowing down or even cross where you are.
Therefore, do not run this loop in moderate visibility and do this, for example, only on a Saturday or Sunday.

Lots of sun at the Vaart, lots of sun at the ditch near the pond in the south. And furthermore also in a forest and pond-rich environment.
