Departure from Stationsstraat 13 in Korbeek-Dijle.
Few parking spaces here.
The tour starts through the quiet nature with some ducks and grazing cows as an audience. Very clean water here. We also pass the walls of Arenberg Castle and the park. A piece of urban area from Leuven approaches us, where you drive through a rather narrow tunnel of 300 meters under the neighborhood, too bad that there are a bit too many bike wrecks in the water. We finish the tour near the E314, a large parking lot (though in sand). Our travel time was 2 hours and 30 minutes, light current and definitely doable for beginners. Safety first, life jacket and helmet. At this starting point, there is also a rental for kayak/canoe and also for shorter trips, a nice family day.
