With the Vierbekenwandeling you really get the concept of Slow Roads . And in Sint-Martens-Bodegem there are a lot of them. Most of the trails along this route are completely car-free. Many paths are also unpaved. Therefore, not so suitable to do with strollers. AND certainly not with a wheelchair. The Vierbekenwandeling has its name from the Zierbeek, the Zibbeek, the Plankenbeek and the Doornbeek. Each of these streams originates as springs on the hillside between Schepdaal and Sint-Martens-Bodegem.
