At the foot of the citadel, on the banks of the Maas, the town of Copères (in the Dinant region) will tickle your taste buds and invite you to taste its famous "couques" pastries or to take a boat trip. Further on towards Namur, several hectares of vines line the valley opposite the little medieval village of Bouvignes.
Just before Anhée you can admire the ruins of the feudal castle of Poilvache, which towers over the Maas on its rocky promontory. You then enter the most beautiful part of the countryside - the Maas Valley - with its numerous cliffs and sumptuous settings such as the famous gardens of Annevoie. You will pass through the village of Wépion, famous throughout the world for its strawberries.
At the entrance to Namur, you can enjoy the view over the fortifications of the imposing Namur Citadel - you have arrived in the Wallonian capital
