We get off at the Nordbahnhof and walk along the side of the glass street. Those coming by car can best park (for a fee) around the stadium of Crossing Schaarbeek, GPS: Algemeen Stemrechtlaan, Schaarbeek. From there, take the path. There are, of course, several parking lots and train stations in Brussels to possibly catch up on the route. The center of Brussels, but here and there still has a green strip of nature as well.
A city walk where we pass various sights: Grote Markt; Town Hall; Manneken Pis; Kruidtuin; Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula; Josaphat Park and more, to then reach the covered Galerie Royale and the passages along the many markets with Christmas stalls. Winter Celebration is available until January 6, 2019, and includes around 200 huts, rides, an ice rink, and winter performances.
