The route partially follows the existing hiking trails marked by posts, but not entirely. The route goes through the forest and along open areas. Halfway, the route crosses the Roelerbeek and runs parallel to it for a while. The route traverses both wide and narrower forest paths, with some mud here and there and a short but steep ascent.
The route is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.
