Start your Scheldt hike at the cozy village square of Schellebelle. Hike along the Scheldt towards Wetteren, where you will find the nature reserve Warandeduinen along the way. After junction 4, you will see bat boxes from Natuurpunt. Walk through the provincial area Den Blakken, the promotional garden of almost all ornamental plant species from Wetteren. Cross the new 'Passerelle' from Wetteren and arrive at the nature reserve Kalkense Meersen. Take the ferry back to the village of Schellebelle. You can find more tips in the PDF!
