A small adjustment to the route with a detour to a new observation tower 'Niemandsland' (2022)

A walk across national borders with the Dutch water protection area (the only area in the Netherlands from which water is still pumped from the ground, and with an industrial customer. In case of water shortage, it can be connected to the water network to supply households) and on the Belgian side, the Stropersbos nature reserve (a forest named after an aristocratic family). Parking and departure at the former Onze-Lieve-Vrouw church (GPS Hellestraat 203, Stekene), cross Hellestraat and then head into the forest paths and trails.
