Climate bike tour Green Valley

This bike tour takes you past breathtaking places in the Green Valley. It is 24 km long. At the stops you can empathize with the comprehensive story of climate change. Along the way, let yourself be surprised by the landscape and the many possibilities that are up for grabs to actually do something for the climate.

The inspiring climate bike tour was developed by Natuurpunt CVN, Natuurpunt Studie and the many Natuurpunt volunteers of the Green Valley with the financial support of the Province of Flemish Brabant.

Climate change has a major impact on species and populations of plants and animals. Estimating how the consequences of climate change will develop in the near future is a difficult task. With the existing environmental pressures, such as fragmentation and fertilization, we face major challenges when we want to mitigate the loss of natural values. This bike tour takes you past special places in the Green Valley. At the stops you can empathize with climate stories.

Practical information:

The bike tour starts at the Green Valley Visitor Centre. You can park a stone's throw away at the spacious parking lot on the Village Square of Kwerps (Sint-Pietersplein) or at the church of Erps-Kwerps. A stopping place is provided in a number of places. On the map, they are displayed as points of interest. At these stops you get more background information.
