Soothing and varied forest and countryside hike. First, we cross the Mollendaal forest before we reach the open landscape of Walloon Brabant, which is actually already the Brabantian Hesbaye with a pronounced agricultural character and beautiful views. We pass old rectangular farms and cross two old picturesque villages: Beauvechain (Bevekom) and Tourinnes-la-Grosse. We continue mainly on beautiful unpaved paths back to Flemish Brabant, where the De Warande forest house is the first house on Flemish soil. From here, a beautiful avenue leads us back to the Mollendaal forest, a true retreat so close to the city of Leuven and the metropolis of Brussels.
