MTB Aywaille - Theux - Spa

Beautiful combined loop from Aywaille which visits some of the most beautiful trails in the region. You can park rue de la Heid at the administrative center of Aywaille or at Aywaille station. The first loop to the west takes you into the region on and around Les Chambralles, a well-known side of the region. Good for warming up. Then you get an intermediate section along the Amblève towards Remouchamps, where it can really start. Rue el Semme takes you from under the A26 viaduct to the wooded peaks of the region. Then you make a loop near the Ninglinspo. Please note that this is a popular hiking area, so you will need to share the trails with hikers. You get a nice descent and climb in front of the wheels. Then the route heads towards Theux. The first part of this eastern loop is quiet. Near Theux, you will have to face more difficult climbs/descents. Of course, the kilometers already traveled also begin to weigh on them. Guests can also relax in Theux. After some nice trails, you finally return to the Ninglinspo and descend to the confluence of this stream in the Amblève. Then you get a difficult climb to Nonceveux in front of the wheels towards the bed of the A26 and then go back down to Aywaille. If this last climb is too much, you can also follow the Amblève to Aywaille.
