Ourthe Nisramont Maboge 22km

A lot of parking opportunity at the dam in Nisramont. First part over GR-paths. The passage over the Hérou rock is impressive. Steep uphill scramble at km 7.6 (still clearly a path, though). Path non-existing at km 15.7. It's a short but steep downhill scramble alongside a private property into a small (but beautiful) valley. The path alongside the Ourthe river between km 16.2 and km 17.4 is beautiful and wild, but hardly a path. The following climb out of the valley between km 17.4 and km 17.9 is defenitely nót a path, but a mere uphill scramble, but as long as you carry on climbing in the right direction, you can't do anything wrong. You'll join the walking path just below the ridge. Over all, a difficult, but very rewarding hike. Better not do it when it's too wet. Enjoy!
