Over the water

On a cycling adventure through the Kempen and Meuse Valley

Via the dikes of Dijle, Rupel and Nete, you cycle out of the urbanised Vlaamse Ruit. You cycle at your own pace through the quiet Kempen where justice and results have been fought for the preservation of heathland, swamps and low-lying bogs. Not only the nature reserves, but also the many villages and local beers know how to charm a person with ease. Green plains, river arms and floodplains full of waterfowl, plants and grasses betray when you enter the Maasland. As a finale, the jagged rain river accompanies you along a series of picturesque villages of the Meuse.
