Along the meanders of the Ourthe to the most beautiful of Durbuy

We start in Bohon because the intention is to walk a bit to Durbuy, to visit the city and to grab a terrace and then return. If you want to visit Durbuy thoroughly, you can even make it a day trip with lunch.

In Bohon you can park at the sports complex at the roundabout; there is also a bus stop.

The route is completely paved and therefore perfectly passable with a pram.

From Bohon it is a paved country road of about 1 km through a phenomenal landscape to the river Ourthe. We take the Ravel on the left and walk along the Ourthe to Durbuy (3 km).

In Durbuy there are many places of interest: the famous falize (rock) with the fountains, the castle, the hotel 'Le Sanglier des Ardennes', the bridge, and certainly the Place aux Foires with its many terraces. Take a stroll through the old part of the city on Rue de Récollectines...

You may have time to visit the topiary park with its 250 topiary sculptures.

You leave Durbuy via the Tier Mareau to go via the Neuve Voie to the Rue des Crêtes, avoiding the steep climb over the forest road via the belvédère.

But maybe the best way back is just the way out in the opposite direction?
