WWu round trip Opoeteren 55km

Diverse round trip for racing bike (or regular bike or e-bike) starting from Opoeteren. You will ride through both forests and open fields next to the Maas on low-traffic or car-free roads. Major roads are avoided whenever possible. You will follow the bike junctions several times. However, you will deviate from these junction routes multiple times. You will only pass through the town centers a few times. The number of elevation meters is limited.

The tour begins behind the church in Opoeteren, at the parking lot. After the roundabout, the first climb of the tour begins. After the summit, a long descent follows on a low-traffic and then a car-free road.
You cross the canal and turn left towards Neeroeteren, but you do not go all the way to the village center.
You pass a few kilometers from Maaseik and then head towards Dilsen, riding along the dike for a long time.
After the village center of Dilsen, you ride on a bike path on the old railway embankment (Bike Fast Route F75). To get there, you first have to overcome a small climb.
In As, you leave the old railway embankment. From there, the route gently continues back to Opoeteren.
