You park in the municipal parking lot by the fish pond. You can also reach it by public transport and depart from Lommel train station.
The route runs along Bosland "Cycling through the trees" and includes lunch by the canal at Brasserie De Waterkant. This address is already a recommendation (2019) for a delicious meal served with friendliness.
You also pass the overwhelmingly simple German military cemetery (1944), where about 39,000 soldiers who fell in Belgium during liberation found their final resting place.
You also pass the well-known test center of Ford cars, but aside from a fence and sometimes the sound of tires screeching, there’s nothing to see.
Depending on the day, you may also hear the noise of gunfire at the training grounds of Leopoldsburg in certain areas.
