This leisure hiking trail takes you between Aalter and Bellem. The walk starts and ends at the Aalter train station, where parking is also available. Initially, you head towards the canal, which you follow through the peaceful nature to the cozy village of Bellem. In Bellem, you will find among other things an old village courtyard and the Mariahovekasteel. You will walk back to Aalter through the forests. Along the way, you pass the Kraenepoel, where you can take a break and enjoy the tranquility and silence. The route has a total length of about 15 km.
