The Ruins Hike

This route takes you to the locations of Poilvache (heights of Yvoir) and Montaigle (Anhée) as well as to the 7 Maas viewpoints (a beautiful viewpoint).

This route is very diverse and quite entertaining, as it leads through the valleys and brooks of the Maas-side tributaries (Bocq, Molignée, Burnot) and the river itself.

It therefore has a relatively high positive elevation difference (+- 1000m), making it quite a challenging course, especially in the second part.

If necessary, the Maas Valley is never far away, and the endpoint can be reached along the river to the foot of Lustin, where a final ascent awaits to reach the upper part of the village.

The crossing of the Maas occurs in Houx over the bridge of the railway line, where a (narrow) passage for bicycles and pedestrians is provided.
