Valleys of Burnot and Meuse

This circular route runs along the foothills of the Hulle before leading to a long, steady ascent that brings you to the heights of the village, allowing you to enjoy the panorama over the Hulle, the village, and the rocks of Frênes.

The path passes the viewpoint from Couleuvrine, which offers a view of the Meuse valley above Profondeville before taking a technical descent down to Rivière.

Afterwards, it goes up the Burnot valley to the school of the same name, then through the village of Arbre. Ascent to the farm of Gerlain and back into the Meuse valley past Annevoie, with a beautiful view of the castle, known for its stunning gardens.

Route without technical difficulties, except for the descent to Rivière, where it is better to descend! 3 considerable ascents must be overcome before a quiet return along the Meuse. A certain level of fitness is required to enjoy this round! Caution is advised in Rivière (short section along the N92) and before reaching Arbre (crossing the N928), as well as in Annevoie when crossing the N92.
