The route takes you to the most beautiful spots in the nature of rural Pajottenland. We boast two legendary climbs in the course, making the route challenging yet exciting.
Halfway through the blue loop, you might reach the most famous point: the Bosberg. At a height of 110 m, this is the highest point of the route. You can get there via the steep Noremansberg, located on the southern side of Bosberg. It requires good basic fitness, but you will be rewarded for your climb with a fantastic view. The iconic Bosberg in Galmaarden has been one of the most thrilling climbs during the finale of “Vlaanderens mooiste” cycling highlight for years.
Once you have recovered from your exertion, another challenge awaits after about 10 km. As soon as you enter the neighboring municipality of Vollezele, you can already see it lying there… the Congoberg. It is a gentle climb that everyone can tackle at their own pace. The Congoberg is 1.2 kilometers long and overcomes 59 vertical meters with an average gradient of 4.9%. The summit of the climb is at an altitude of 95 meters. Additionally, you will go directly into the Dender-Mark peace area. This area has held this designation for 20 years and invites you to cycle through while listening to the sounds of nature in a diverse landscape.
