The surroundings of Sint-Martens-Latem and Ghent are rich in water. Rivers, canals and ditches draw numerous blue stripes on the map. With this recreational cycle route you will go 12 times over one of those waters less than 24 km away. You cross those waterways with springs, ordinary and remarkable bridges. This route is therefore best done in the period when the feathers are active. So it's best to check it out! Because there is a lot of variation in the route and it is not too long, it is ideal for children. Here and there where dangerous points but in general the roads are car-free or car-free.
