Another feeding walk

Due to the construction of the new cycling route F29, which overlaps with part of this hiking trail, we have decided to partially revise this hike in order to seek out as many quiet hiking paths as possible.

You can find this new version as "Another Voer Hiking Trail - adapted version", thus this hike is 4 km longer than this one.

For this version (the original), we had to revise the starting point. We start at node 56. The other nodes remain unchanged.

We begin at the Sint-Veronakapel. Further ahead is the castle of Leefdaal, also called 'de Liedekerke': a Renaissance castle with late medieval remnants. We follow the Voer up to the border with Tervuren and ascend back towards the plateau between Leefdaal and Duisburg. The views provide us with a quiet glance at the busy world further away (E40, flight route to Zaventem ...). Over the Brabantian loess plateau and the Tersaerthoeve, we leisurely return over the open fields to the chapel and to the Voer.
