Those who want to get away from people for a while can enjoy the typical tranquility in the Kempen forests along the Belgian-Dutch border. Start at number 1 of the hiking network. Then pass by 2, 90, 97, 10, 8, 6, 5, and 4. In the first kilometers, you walk among pine and birch forests, but gradually you come between (older) oaks, with a beech here and there as well.
