THREE STAR ART IN GETELAND
This hike uses the GR 128 and the Regional GR Hageland.
A hike full of rural tranquility, on the border between Hageland and Haspengouw. You explore the valley of the Kleine and Große Gete, a water-rich area full of ditches and canals. Fields, meadows, and poplar groves alternate. North of the valley, the landscape begins to undulate and more and more fruit orchards appear. And further? Cozy cafés, beautiful village views, and some charming churches. The hike is particularly lovely in April when the fruit trees are in bloom. But the eye-catcher is of course Zoutleeuw: a tiny town with a great past and a heritage worth seeing. So, it's only logical that you start your hike here.
