The cycling loop 'Pallieteren langs de Nete' lets you enjoy the nature and cultural heritage of Lier and its surroundings. The Netestadje has a high postcard content. The region around Lier also has a lot of beauty in store for you. You will discover a Palladian villa, old manor houses, beautiful castle domains and Gestel, one of the most beautiful villages in the province of Antwerp. You cycle for miles along the meandering Grote and Kleine Nete, lined with pink-red giant balsams. Of course you will also pass some atmospheric cafes, where you can put the verb 'pallieteren' into practice...
