This is a circle to the Blackheide from Meerle within the Belgian borders. Recording of March 27, 2020, during the lockdown due to the Corona crisis when I was not allowed to cycle through the Netherlands and had to adjust my route. Many cyclists and walkers on the way, paying attention to the applicable rules, and further, it is really quiet everywhere. Quite a few places where you can pause or have your picnic according to the applicable rules, and the reasonably many good restaurants are all closed. It is what it is for now. The route goes past the Merksplas prison, which now suddenly seems very different.
