ZO I R - Zwevegem - R

With this somewhat shorter bike route, I would like to take you in a south-easterly direction departing from Roeselare; you can, of course, join this route wherever you wish.

Via the Zilverberg, it goes along rural roads to Ledegem and from there to Wevelgem, where we will follow two atypical routes in Lauwe and Marke, culminating in Watervalstraat, but no worries, the racing bike can handle it 😅 Once we pass under the E17 with the Marionettes on the left side, we enter a rolling landscape and enjoy what the region has to offer. We cycle to the Sint Pietersbrug at the Bossuit - Kortrijk Canal, and from here we stay along the water until we reach Koning Albertpark in Kortrijk. Here we cycle over the beautiful College Bridge over the Leie and cycle again via rural roads between Sint Eloois Winkel and Lendelede towards De Bosmolens to arrive back in Roeselare along the Bergmolenbos and Sterrebos.

WARNING: At the location of transport company Laebens after 49.3 km, a gate has been installed that will be closed when boats are being unloaded or loaded, in order to ensure the safety of the cyclist. If the gate is closed, turn back and take a right onto Otegemstraat, then the second right onto Blokkestraat, then cycle to the traffic lights and turn right onto Deerlijkstraat, where you can return to the route at the roundabout.
