This driving route takes you past 10 monuments that represent the planets of our solar system. It is perhaps unfairly the most misunderstood work of art in Belgium. And it extends throughout Belgium.
It would be the second largest solar system in the world, after the Swedish solar system. The initiative was taken in 2004. The eleven creations of the artist Tim Roosen are spread over 10 different locations in Belgium. Frank De Winne is the godfather of this unique project. Neptune in Ostend has unfortunately disappeared.
