Parking and departures at the Sint-Bonifatiuskerk, Munteplein, of picturesque Munte. The walk runs along 70% unpaved paths of Slow road paths, paths through Makegem forests and other field roads in a rolling landscape of 'Montem' the first name around 990 and 'mountain' means. Munte is therefore located on a ridge. The cemetery where the church used to stand but was demolished due to its dilapidation, there has been a burial chapel on Calvary since 1880. After 3 km a sofa with a beautiful view of the region.
