We have been living near Baetenheide for more than 40 years. Parking, start and endpoint. When our children were little, I imagined an unfinished story for them about the Ghost of Baetenheide. To build up my fitness, I mapped out a number of routes around Weelde, and when I completed one of about 30 kilometers, I saw from above the complete picture of The Ghost... That cannot be a coincidence. The Ghost definitely exists! Maybe I can finally finish the story... for the granddaughters then.
The path along BaalseHei is in poor condition. So be careful! The city of Turnhout is not the owner of the road but will contact the owner... to be continued...
