AzureThis recreational crossroads walk in Tollembeek, around the Kleienberg and Nemerkendries is a winner. The promenade is full of variety ranging from the huge open landscape in the arable lands of the Negenbunder to the closed and intimate landscape of the alluvial areas of the brand. You start and finish in Tollembeek and drive along the village center of Vollezele. The rich land made it possible to build huge farms here. And these huge farms also bred strong horses to be able to work these huge fertile fields. You will encounter all these elements along this topper of a walk. There are smaller stretches along slightly busier roads, but this is more than offset by the many car-free and unpaved paths, including one of Pajottenland's most beautiful routes: the path along the River Mark.
