At the crossing of the "St. Elooiskeer," we enter "Smeetsdries" until "Zijldegemkouterweg".

Looking back to the north, you can see the Kruishoutem valley from the center to Lozer.

We follow left on the "Zijldegemkouterweg" until we reach the Grasstraat.

Turning right onto "Grasstraat," we reach the first highest point on "Zijldegemkouter" after 200m.

Then we descend to "Zevekotstraat," which we turn right onto.

On the left, we pass the riding school "Hof Ter Zevekote".

At the next bend, we turn left into "Het Leeghoek," where we pass shortly past the lowest point in this valley, the art center of "Willy De Meester," and the beginning of a slow path.

At the top, we turn left onto "Nokerepontweg." To the right, we see the church of the municipality "Wannegem," and in front of us, the "Schietsjampettermolen," which we already saw from "Zijldegemkouter."

After transitioning to "Huisepontweg" (famous cobblestone road in the Flemish cycling classics), we pass this mill. On its north side, there is a orientation table with beautiful views over Kruishoutem and its northern and eastern areas.

Continuing on "Huisepontweg," we arrive at the highest point of the region near the castle of Wannegem-Lede.

The street continues into Wannegemstraat as we now have entered the territory of the municipality "Lede," where we see the lower-lying church to our right.

We go through to the municipality "Huise," where we turn left onto "Keitelstraat" in front of the first house.

Beyond the house, we see the "Huisekoutermolen" on the left.

However, we continue to descend the valley and follow "Keitelstraat" until it transitions into "Hoogrechemstraat." Several riding schools are located in this area, namely at the street name change lies the horse pension "Hoeve Ter Linden."

We ascend, and at the large lime tree, we turn left onto the street that retains the name "Hoogrechemstraat."

Further on, we enter "Appelhoekstraat," which we turn right onto.

Just past the lowest point of our trip, we come to the pond of the castle of Lozer: "Kasteel della Faille D'huysse." We first see the outbuildings housing a Bed and Breakfast, and then the castle lies ahead in all its glory.

Past the entrance gate of the castle, we turn left onto "Kasteelstraat." We use the bike path located to the left to further on turn left into "Boekweitstraat."

We leave "Nevelstraat" on the right and continue left along "Boekweitstraat" until we reach the next riding school and Bed and Breakfast "De Peirdekouter."

Here, we go straight into "Lichtekouterstraat."

A little further on, we turn left into "Nazarethsedorpweg."

At its beginning, we enter "Deinzesteenweg," which we follow to the left.

We take the second street right, "Brouwerijstraat," where shortly after, we pass the residential care center "Huize St Jozef St Petrus" on the left.

We continue in "Hedekensdriesstraat," where after 100m, we turn left into "René D'Huyvetterstraat," which is a residential area.

When we walk all the way through, we return next to the town hall back onto the market.
