The start of the route is located at Van Beverenplein in Ghent. Easily accessible by public transport, as there is also plenty of parking nearby.
The route is a nice combo of quiet roads + some sightseeing in the city center here and there.
Mostly good asphalt. Only in the center is it unavoidable to cross tram tracks or to have a climb / descent.
If you have mastered the basics of skating, this route should definitely not be a problem.
