The first 35 km are slightly hilly. In Tiegem we can test our legs for the first time - we take the Hellestraat/Meuleberg and continue towards Gijzelbrechtegem. There we do not take the traditional climb, but the Hollestraat/Bosstraat where we can enjoy the 'green' surroundings. From there we head towards Nokere where we bump over the cobblestones in the Nokeredorpstraat. From there we descend towards St. Eloois Vijve, where we can tackle the last 25 km along the Leie, with the wind at our backs towards Menen.
