Every year in December, several villages from Limburg pilgrimage to Banneux. I also came from Bocholtz, from where I was allowed to walk. The tour is a group hike and there are a few places along the way where you can stop by.
Due to the nature of this tour, no photos were taken out of respect. During the journey, the group leader prayed three times and the others observed the silence.
The tour is quite flat only at the end. It is a rather difficult ascent on the route that many people could not take without struggle, and others provided the expected assistance on this type of tour.
