The red walking loop in the Leut hiking area introduces you to the villages of Leut, Vucht and Eisden. This last village is located in my subsidence area and what that means exactly, you can see very well in 't Greven, where the red loop leads you. In 't Greven, water is now extracted for drinking water production. The red loop also runs along the Kruinenpad where the story of 't Greven is explained.

A hiking trail at a height of ten meters between the treetops. The Kruinenpad is 181 m long and 1.5 m wide. It is constructed of steel and weighs 112 tons. The path rests entirely on five towers. It is located along the towpath of the Zuid-Willemsvaart, 200 meters past the bridge in Eisden. The route is easily accessible for prams and wheelchair users.
 

In addition, in this walking area you will find an extensive variety of landscape elements such as hedges, old dike bodies and orchards. The combination of nature and culture make this hiking area a gem to explore on foot.
